We get writers in here. Some of them find it a good atmosphere to relax in, some are here just because they love words. There's a writer in the west corner, he is working on a screenplay of Joyce Carey's 1940's novel, The Horse's Mouth. He is doing this as an exercise, as somewhere to start teaching himself this trade. One of his current problems is, he does not want the hero to kill the heroine accidentally, as happens in the book. This writer welcomes all suggestions: the Librarian will forward sensible responses.
